Meet-Up | In-Home 



Our best work happens when we collaborate directly with our clients and bring them into the process of telling their story through their space. We want to get to know you and your lifestyle and interpret this into a space that enables the experiences you desire.


Initial Consult

Every project starts with a 1-2 hour consultation at your home to divine your style. We will get to know one another and we will know what you need from the process. If it seems like a good fit, then we will draft a contract outlining the budget, timelines and expected deliverables .

Design Boards

When the project is ready to move ahead, we will begin by drawing "room boards" that reflect your desired outcome through a rendering.  The drawing will include a mood board that will feature a color story, fabric choices and furniture that describes the new room's look and feel.  This step ensures both the design team and you understand the long-term vision of the project including a more detailed breakdown of budget, timeline and item choices.

Finalized Project

Once you sign off the design vision, let our design team do the rest! We will put together a finalized design that comes with a 3-D rendering of the room including paint colors, fabric and furniture links so you can purchase the exact designs from the room boards. 


Travel Fee:

  • Projects under an hour door to door incur no travel fee.
  • Projects from 1 to 3 hours of travel time door to door from Active Standard Interior Designs will be charged $0.55 per mile.
  • Projects over 3 hours (one way) will be charged $100/hour per trip.

Color Consultation Package

  • Provision for paint samples (up to three colors per space)
  • Provision for paint materials (brushes/sponges,etc.)
  • Ongoing consultation for the duration of the package
  • Establishing a color palette to maximize flow
  • Assistance with color selection
  • Travel
  • Customized color plan complete with brand name, paint color name, wall application, paint finish
  • Meet up to three times during the color selection process. General 3 meeting format for a color consultation is:








Meeting 1:

  • Evaluation and discussion of the spaces being addressed.
  • Make initial color choice selections (up to 3 colors per space)
  • Active Standard Interior Design will provide paint samples

Meeting 2:

  • Initially selected color samples will be applied and left on the wall(s) to be previewed during different times of the day to see how they may be altered by light as well as how they might look in natural light versus by lamps/overhead lighting.

Meeting 3:

  • Return for final evaluation and final selection of colors (ideally within 72 hours of the initial application).

Color Consultation Package Cost:

Active Standard Interior Design fees for these services rendered are $375.00. 50% is due at the signing of the contact at the end of the first meeting and the remaining 50% is due at the conclusion of the third meeting.

Design in a Dash Package

So you just want a quick consult? Then this service is for you! Maybe you don't quite know how to make the best of your space. You are in love with your furniture but something is telling you it looks a little "off" and moving it around a bit is probably the answer, but how? Maybe it just needs a few tweaks. You have gorgeous accessories but you don't know how to place them beautifully, you have your frames and art ready but your curated wall is looking blah and you need to have a few things added or maybe you just have a design dilemma where you need guidance on? Then Design in a Dash is perfect for you!


We will answer all of your design questions, brainstorm and give you all the design advice we can. Post meeting, we will send you notes and lists of any action items you may need. This service is for the "hands-on" homeowner, or if you are in the planning phase for a future project.


In follow up to our meeting, you will also receive an email with additional resources to aid you in your quest for a happier home!

3-D Interior Design and Concept Plan Package


Have you ever wanted to see what your space would look like before knocking down those walls? Our 3-D Interior Design can help you "see" before reality sets in!


Each successful project has these two elements: a plan and a process. It is much easier to complete goals with a distinct process to follow. A big mistake that people make in starting a design project is not planning out the specifics, which typically leads to hasty decision making, incomplete measurements, overlooked details and unnecessary money being spent.


Seeing all these intricacies in a 3-D design can take the sting out of your project before a hammer is even swung! These drawings are meant as a guide for your personalized design project. It is much easier to configure options on paper, or a computer, than after construction has begun.



3-D Interior and Concept Plan Package Includes:

  • 3-D views of project areas-  3 Rooms
  • One Presentation meeting
  • One revision included (layout only)
